Niagara University is a proponent of active learning, and our faculty demonstrate such principles daily in their classrooms. In support of this goal, 22 Arts & Sciences Faculty received grants from the Fund for the Improvement of Teaching and Learning and 8 faculty received mini-grants Commitee on College Teaching and Learning in the past year.In addition to fostering learning in the classroom, our faculty work closely with students on research projects. In 2005-2006 faculty/student research collaborations included: 134 student presentions at the Undergraduate Research Conference, 18 student presentations at ECSC, and 48 student honors theses.
