The department of Communication Studies stresses the importance of internships and extracurricular activities in providing students with valuable practical experience.  There are many opportunities for internships and cooperative education experiences related to the major.  In the past the department has placed students in all areas of the communications industry including:

Communications Activities On Campus

The CMS Review is a departmental newspaper produced by and for Communications students. It covers up-to-date happenings wtihin the department and what the students should expect from the department in the near future.

The Index is the campus newspaper which details recent stories, events and issues that important to the Niagara University community.

The Niagaran is the Niagara Univeristy yearbook produced each year.

The NUTV is the campus television production club where students learn the fundamentals of producing television for the Niagara University community.
